1. Who we are

Vitta Fin ("the service") is an online service for keeping account books, ledgers, invoices, donation receipts and statutory records. In India it is sold, billed and supported by SD Ventures and Supplies, 13 B, 3rd Cross, Datta Nagara, Vidya Ganapati Marga, Mysuru, Karnataka 570025, India ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

2. The service

The service is software delivered over the internet at vittabooks.in and in the Vitta Fin apps. No physical goods are sold or shipped. What each plan includes, and its price, is shown on the pricing page and on the sign-up screen before you pay.

3. Accounts

• You sign in with a code emailed to your address. Keep your email account secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
• An organisation's owner decides who else may use its books and with what role.
• You must give true details about your organisation, and you are responsible for the entries you and your users make.

4. Subscriptions and payment

• Plans are billed monthly in advance, in Indian rupees. Prices are exclusive of GST; GST at 18% is added and shown before you pay, and a tax invoice is issued.
• Payments in India are collected through Razorpay. Card and bank details go to Razorpay and never reach us.
• A free trial may ask for a refundable verification deposit; how it is returned is set out in the refund and cancellation policy.
• If a payment fails or a plan ends, access continues for 15 days. After that the account is suspended — the records are kept, not deleted — until payment is made.

5. Your data

The organisation's records belong to the organisation. We hold and process them only to run the service, as described in the privacy policy. The records can be exported from within the service at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for anything unlawful, try to reach another organisation's records, interfere with the service's operation, or resell it without our written agreement.

7. Professional advice

The service computes and prepares books, statements and returns from the entries you make. It does not replace the judgement of a chartered accountant, auditor or tax professional, and you remain responsible for what you file.

8. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and the records safe, with daily backups. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid for it in the three months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Ending the service

You may cancel at any time (see the refund and cancellation policy). We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, after notice where the law requires it.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes are announced in the service before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page is updated.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at Mysuru, Karnataka.
